My name is Lorenzo Duina and I am a freelance illustrator based in Milan, Italy, where I was born and raised.
I work with brands and publishers from all over the world to create beautiful and effective images, with particular attention to the emotional aspect.
I love conceptual illustration, but I consider myself a multifaceted professional and I am always ready to experiment with new fields and approaches to work.
“I love the long shadows, the moments at the ends of the day where the mind meets the soul.”
Like all illustrators, I have been drawing since I can remember but only in 2019 I decided to make it my profession, attending the CFP Bauer in Milan.
Previously I also trained at SUPER – Scuola Superiore d’Arte Applicata del Castello Sforzesco and Fastweb Digital Academy.
As an illustrator, what I love most is giving beautiful visual representation to stories.
My favorite tool for this is visual metaphor: the use of symbols, the fusion of elements, and the construction of surreal scenes allow me to communicate in an interesting and creative way.
I particularly love symbolic elements from the natural world: plants, animals, oceans, and mountains can beautifully represent the complex inner world of human beings!
